Mackintosh launches a new pallet of painted colours.

Summer 2019 has seen the launch of 7 new painted colours and additional door styles from Mackintosh. There is now 17 door styles and 21 colours to choose from in the painted collection, giving you 357 combinations. It is of course observed that this is a huge selection  for people to choose from so the first thing to consider is whether you are looking for a traditional, contemporary or modern painted door style, this will narrow down the door styles for you. Other aspects that will help you is whether you are looking for a handle or handless design and finally price. Painted kitchens come in four price categories, 2 and 3 being the cheaper options and 5 and 6, the more expensive. Thinking about this will help you narrow down the options of door styles, then you will be able to look at colour options.

The next stage is to think about colour, you need not go for just one colour, but can mix colours as well. For example, oxford blue and limestone. A good way to mix in a bolder colour for more drama, without making the space feel small is to put the bolder/darker colour only in the low level base units and then mix the lighter colour in to tall cabinets and wall units.

The new selection of more bold painted colours are shown below:
